Madwiz Takes us to the Block on “Too Good To Be True”

Mogul Club MC Madwiz is back with another amazing track–this time with a video that could only filmed on the the sunbaked pavement of Brooklyn. The beat rides high on a beat straight from the origins of rap. The lyrics hold firmly in the current state of human rights issues, with lines like “but right before you shoot, one thing to understand, stop aiming at the black man.”

The video for “Too Good To Be (True!)” is steeped in Brooklyn culture, with unique style and proof that happiness still exists in a world where it’s hard to see the positive through all the bull. The video transitions between black and white for the melodic interludes providing scene-by-scene shots of a neighborhood block party, and color scenes where Madwiz and crew take us to the bodega and stoop spots perfect for breaking up your trees.
