Rilgood: Great Expectations -- The Brooklyn emcee has recently been gaining exposure on major sites like Hypetrak. Like his original tape, Jfk, the project features original production from Woodro Skillson and RC Bankwell, with oversight from KiD CuDi mastermind Dot Da Genius.
Phony Ppl: nothinG Special -- Brooklyn rapper Dyme-A-Duzin and his band Phony Ppl dropped their tape "blending hip-hop attitude with pop senseibilities." Co-Signs from Plain Pat, Nick Catchdubs, Peanut Butter Wolf, Giles Peterson and Q-Tip, and a feature from Theophilus London, the collective's second release is worth a full listen.
Curren$y & Harry Fraud: Cigarette Boats EP -- Two of the most prolific hip-hop artists around got together for a hard-hitting, short project telling the story of a drug dealer trapping out of his cigarette boat off the coast of Miami. A collaboration between Curren$y and Harry Fraud was expected to be excellent, and ultimately lives that up. OG Ron C chopped and screwed the EP.
